XAAR 2001+ Series
Genuine Xaar 2001+ printheads — the award-winning high-resolution ceramic platform. 2,000 nozzles in four rows deliver 720 npi in single colour (360 npi in dual colour) across a 70.5 mm swathe, jetting 12–84 pL (GS12C) greyscale drops of oil-based ceramic ink. Sister variants share the same body and mechanics — GS6C covers 6–42 pL and GS40C 40–160 pL at up to 5 grey levels — and a single electronics card drives all three. 720 dpi reproduces fine stone grain and smooth marble gradients that no 360 dpi head can match, at laydown up to 41 g/m² at 25 m/min — and High Laydown variants reach 120 g/m² for gloss, glue and metallic effects.
XaarSMART monitoring, XaarGuard™ nozzle protection and TF Technology® recirculation keep long ceramic production runs predictable. The 2001+ GS12C (Part No. XP20010002) is a direct performance upgrade for Xaar 1002 and 1003 print bars; its 132 × 50 × 105 mm body and single or dual fluid path fit existing print-bar mechanics with the waveform and ink circuit largely unchanged.
In practice the 2001+ is what you fit when a 360 npi line needs sharper stone and wood-grain reproduction without giving up the dense colour that ceramic decoration depends on. Because it shares the 70.5 mm swathe and the same print-bar mechanics as the 1003, an upgrade usually means swapping heads rather than rebuilding the machine — controller, waveform and ink circuit stay largely unchanged, and XaarSMART reports head health so maintenance can be planned instead of reacted to. Typical applications include ceramic floor and wall tiles, large-format ceramic slabs, glass decoration, and special-effect glazes and granules. Every head is 100% original, serial-numbered and QC tested — contact us for a free compatibility check and bulk pricing.
