XAAR 2002 Series

Genuine Xaar 2002 printheads (Plus, Premium and Advanced) — the current flagship of Xaar’s ceramic and industrial range. 2,000 nozzles deliver 720 npi across a 70.5 mm swathe, jetting 6 / 12 / 40 pL XaarDOT greyscale drops at up to 36 kHz (75 m/min at 720 dpi) on oil-based ceramic, UV and solvent inks, with High Laydown up to 240 g/m² for gloss, grit and metallic effects. Ultra High Viscosity Technology lets the head jet fluids up to 100 cP, and the 132 × 50 × 105 mm body runs 8 grey levels across a 6–400 pL XaarDOT range.
TF Technology® recirculation, XaarGuard™ nozzle protection, SureFlow™ nozzle self-cleaning and AcuChp™ out-of-box colour uniformity keep quality consistent across the whole print bar with minimal downtime, and dual-mode operation supports combinations such as colour plus varnish. Choose GS6 (6 pL value workhorse), GS12 (XP20020003 Plus / XP20020006 Advanced — 12 pL fine detail and tonal gradients) or GS40 (XP20020007 — 40 pL heavy laydown).
The 2002 is the head to fit when a ceramic or industrial line needs maximum resolution and maximum laydown at the same time, and it is fully backward compatible with printers already running the Xaar 2001+ — usually a straight head swap, with TAM2 alignment handling registration. SureFlow™ clears the nozzle plate without manual intervention, which matters on presses running around the clock, and AcuChp™ means heads can be mixed within one print bar without a colour-matching step.
