Overview
The 508GS 12PL blue label (IRH2533U-1420) is Seiko’s aqueous-configured greyscale printhead. Jetting hardware is identical to the solvent/UV green-label and UV black-label versions — 508 nozzles, 71.54 mm swath, 12–84 pL greyscale — but the internal ink path, seals and materials are matched to water-based ink chemistry. It is the correct choice for textile, wallcovering and other aqueous 508GS systems.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IRH2533U-1420 and IRH2533U-2410?
Both are 508GS 12PL heads with identical jetting specs. The -1420 (blue label) is configured for aqueous/water-based inks only; the -2410 (black label) is for UV inks. Mixing them causes seal degradation and permanent head failure.
Can I run solvent ink through a blue-label 508GS?
No. The blue-label head is built for water-based inks only. For solvent use the green-label variant (IRH2533U, solvent/UV configuration).
Which printers use the blue-label 508GS?
Aqueous systems such as Infiniti Challenger FY-3208GS/T aqueous configurations, DuPont Ichinose Artistri 3320, Leyenda, Nuocai and other water-based 508GS platforms.
