Overview
The Xaar 1003 GS40U is the UV version of the high-laydown GS40 variant in the Xaar 1003 family. The same silicon MEMS architecture as the ceramic GS40C — 1,000 nozzles in two rows over a 70.5 mm swathe — but specified for UV-curable inks, where the large 40–160 pL drops put down strong colour and build thickness in a single pass. A used GS40U is the practical route to get a UV press printing again without paying for a new head.
Condition & Testing
Each unit is inspected for physical damage, then stripped and cleaned, flushed with a UV-safe cleaning fluid, and finally jet-tested and electrically verified on our rig. Nozzle dropout, misfiring and recirculation performance are all checked. The photos show the exact head you will receive, including the part number on its label.
