Polaris PQ-512 Series

Genuine Fujifilm Dimatix Polaris PQ-512 printheads — 512-jet, two-module greyscale heads built on the proven Q-Class platform. 512 addressable jets in two 256-jet modules cover a 64.897 mm (2.555 in) print width at 200 dpi single-colour (four rows of jets, 127 µm spacing) or 100 dpi two-colour (254 µm), interlacing up to 1000 dpi. Drop volumes span 15 pL to 150 pL — PQ-512/15 adjustable 15–30 pL at 40 kHz, PQ-512/35 adjustable 35–80 pL at 30 kHz and PQ-512/85 80–150 pL — with UV-curable, aggressive organic solvent and aqueous inks all supported, and on-head heaters holding ink viscosity stable up to 60 °C.
Each 256-jet module is dual ported for easy priming, flushing and ink recirculation, and can be replaced and re-registered in the field with no special tools or recalibration — an integral mounting bezel with precision registration points gives drop-in alignment in multi-head arrays. Nominal drop velocity is 8 m/s, ink viscosity 8–20 cP, and the all-metal body weighs only 160 g; the two electrical connectors carry eight serial data lines and support fire frequencies in excess of 50 kHz.
