SEIKO RCE2560 Series

Genuine Seiko RCE2560 printheads — the current flagship of the SII Printek recirculation range. 2,560 nozzles in four rows deliver 600 npi in single colour (300 npi dual colour) across a 108.3 mm swathe, firing 9–30 pL drops with up to 16 grey levels at up to 40 kHz — 2,867 µL/sec at 10 drops. Dual ink inlets / outlets support aqueous, oil, UV and solvent chemistries, with a jetting viscosity of 5–20 mPas and a 7 m/sec jetting velocity at 3 mm. The body measures 198.0 × 47.6 × 121.5 mm and weighs under 660 g, and the head ships with a serial interface and a Generation 3.0 advanced waveform controller.

The RCE2560 roughly doubles the nozzle count of the RC1536 while keeping the same 108.3 mm swathe, so native resolution rises to 600 npi without changing the print-bar footprint — which is what makes it the natural upgrade path for machines built around the RC1536. Recirculation keeps high-pigment and fast-settling inks moving through the head, and the wider 16-level greyscale range gives smoother gradients and finer highlight detail than earlier 360 npi platforms.
