XAAR 1002 Series

Genuine Xaar 1002 printheads — the generation that made TF Technology® and Hybrid Side Shooter® the industry standard for digital ceramic tile decoration. The 1002 GS40C (Part No. XP10100126) jets 40 pL drops for heavy laydown, opaque whites and strong colour, while the GS6 and GS12 variants cover fine detail and smooth tonal gradients. The 1002 shares the 70.5 mm swathe and 360 npi geometry of the Xaar 1003, and is mechanically and electrically compatible with the 1001 and 1003 platforms, so it remains a true drop-in replacement for the millions of ceramic, glass and industrial printers still running 1002 print bars.
TF Technology® recirculates ink directly past the back of every nozzle, which is what keeps heavily pigmented ceramic ink in suspension and the nozzle plate clear through long production runs. A symmetric flow path allows reverse flushing (backflush) during maintenance, and the Hybrid Side Shooter® architecture holds drop placement steady across the full swathe, so colour stays stable from the first tile to the last. Because the 1002 shares its print-bar mechanics with the 1001 and 1003, the controller, waveform and ink circuit usually stay in place when you replace or upgrade heads.

The C suffix denotes the ceramic ink family, while drop volume sets the detail-versus-laydown balance — GS6 for the finest gradients, GS40C for dense opaque coverage.
