Overview
The 508GS 12PL black label (IRH2533U-2410) is the UV-optimised member of Seiko’s 508GS greyscale family. Its seals and fluid path are matched to UV-curable ink chemistry, delivering durable, high-quality output for flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printers in signage, labels, ceramics and industrial decoration. Jetting performance matches the green-label (solvent/UV) and blue-label (aqueous) variants.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the black label and green label 508GS?
Both share identical 508-nozzle greyscale hardware. The black label (IRH2533U-2410) is configured for UV-curable inks; the green label is for solvent/UV systems. The fluidic materials differ — always match the label to your ink family.
Can the black-label 508GS print water-based inks?
No. Use the blue-label IRH2533U-1420 for aqueous inks. Using the wrong ink family degrades seals and permanently damages the head.
What resolution can it achieve?
Native nozzle density is 180 dpi over 71.54 mm; with greyscale multi-drop and multi-pass printing, effective output reaches 720 dpi class image quality.
