Overview
The Seiko 508GS green label is the solvent/UV configuration of the 508GS greyscale printhead — one of the most widely deployed industrial heads of the last decade. Its 508 independently addressable nozzles, 12–84 pL greyscale range and non-wetting nozzle plate deliver photo-quality results with minimal maintenance in ceramics, signage, textiles and coding & marking. The IRH2533U generation is the current replacement for the discontinued IRH2513 series and drops directly into printers designed for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the green, blue and black label 508GS?
Identical jetting hardware (508 nozzles, 12–84 pL) — the difference is the internal fluidics: green label = solvent/UV, blue label (IRH2533U-1420) = aqueous/water-based only, black label (IRH2533U-2410) = UV-curable. Installing the wrong variant causes seal degradation and permanent head failure.
What does “up to 7 drops” greyscale mean?
Each nozzle can fire 1–7 drops per pixel position: 12 pL at minimum, up to 84 pL effective. Fine highlights use small drops, solids use large drops — producing smooth gradations without extra passes.
Is the IRH2533U a replacement for the IRH2513?
Yes. The IRH2533U is the current generation with the same drop volume and footprint but updated internal piezo technology, and drops directly into printers designed for the IRH2513.
