Overview
The Seiko RC1536A-L is the water-based (blue label) edition of the RC1536 recirculation printhead from SII Printek — the 1,536-nozzle, 108.3 mm platform behind today’s ceramic, corrugated and textile single-pass presses. The “A” suffix marks the ink family (aqueous) and the “L” the large-drop tuning, so this head reaches 25–225 pL across up to 10 levels of greyscale — delivering up to 85 g/m² of ink at 25 m/min for opaque whites, heavy varnishes and effect fluids, while the RC1536 platform as a whole also supports water-based, oil, UV and solvent ink sets. Like every RC1536 it uses true nozzle-level ink recirculation: ink is continuously driven past the back of every nozzle, so heavy pigments never settle and air bubbles clear themselves — which is what keeps a single-pass bar printing without constant purging.
