Overview
The SPT1024GS belongs to Seiko’s isolation-wall (isolated channel) SPT series, where every nozzle is driven independently — a major upgrade over older two-state drive heads. With 1024 nozzles at 360 npi, variable 7–35 pL drops and six-level greyscale, it achieves high-speed, high-quality output for textile, label, packaging and ceramic printers. Seiko supplies three ink-specific variants: U1024GS for solvent/UV, A1024GS for aqueous and T1024GS for ceramic inks.
Key Features
- 1024 independently driven nozzles across a 72.17 mm print width
- Variable 7–35 pL drops across six grey levels (7 / 14 / 21 / 28 / 35 pL)
- Up to 30 kHz firing frequency and 7 m/s jetting velocity
- Built-in EPROM stores printer-specific jetting data
- Ink channel diversion technology ensures fast, uniform ink supply
- TICKLING function prevents nozzle clogging from dried ink
- Three ink-matched variants: U (solvent/UV), A (aqueous), T (ceramic)
Typical Applications
Digital textile printing • Labels and packaging • Ceramic tile decoration • Industrial product decoration • Advanced manufacturing

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between U1024GS, A1024GS and T1024GS?
They share the same 1024-nozzle hardware but differ in fluid configuration: U = solvent and UV inks, A = aqueous/water-based inks, T = ceramic inks. Installing the wrong variant damages the internal seals.
What resolution can the SPT1024GS achieve?
Physical nozzle resolution is 360 dpi at 72.17 mm swath; with grey-scale multi-drop and multi-pass printing, effective output quality reaches 720 dpi class.
Which printers use the SPT1024GS?
Digital textile and product-decoration printers from various OEMs built on the Seiko 1024 platform. Send us your printer brand and model for a free compatibility check.
