Overview
The Xaar 1003 GS40C (P/N XP10100180) is the large-drop specialist of the Xaar 1003 family. Where GS6 and GS12 variants focus on fine detail, the GS40C places 40–160 pL drops to build real ink film thickness — opaque whites on dark tiles, granules, dry glaze effects and heavy coatings. The 5-level greyscale gives tonal control even at these large drop sizes, and the TF Technology® recirculation keeps high-density, heavily loaded inks homogeneous through the nozzle chamber. It is the natural partner head to GS12C bars on ceramic and UV decoration lines that need special effects or white channels.

When should I choose the Xaar 1003 GS40C instead of GS12C?
Choose the GS40C when you need heavy laydown: opaque white, glazes, granules, dry-glaze effects or thick coatings. The GS12C (12–84 pL) is better for fine detail and general colour. Many print bars combine both variants.
What inks does the GS40C support?
