Overview
The Xaar 2001+ GS12C (P/N XP20010002) is the printhead that revolutionised digital ceramic tile decoration, winning the “Contributions to Technology” award at the China Ceramics Pioneers List. Its 2,000 nozzles at 720 dpi capture rock veins, sand grains and the subtle colour gradients of onyx and marble — quality that 360 dpi platforms cannot reproduce. With 1 or 2 fluid paths, oil-based inks and laydown up to 41 g/m² at 25 m/min (20.5 g/m² at 50 m/min), it combines image quality with real production throughput. XaarSMART provides real-time ink temperature and head status monitoring, while the optional High Laydown Technology unlocks gloss, adhesive and metallic effects up to 120 g/m².
