SEIKO RC1536 Series

Genuine Seiko RC1536 printheads — the 1,536-nozzle, 108.3 mm platform behind today’s ceramic, corrugated and textile single-pass presses. 1,536 nozzles in four rows cover a 108.3 mm swathe at 360 npi, firing 25–225 pL (RC1536L) or 13–150 pL (RC1536M) greyscale drops up to 10 grey levels and 37 kHz, with ink recirculation for non-stop production. Peak discharge is 1,500 µL/sec at 10 drops on the RC1536M and 2,477 µL/sec on the RC1536L — 60 g/m² and 85 g/m² respectively at 25 m/min line speed — which is what lets a single 108.3 mm bar carry a full colour set.
The “RC” in the name stands for recirculation: ink is continuously driven past the back of every nozzle, which is what lets this family run high-pigment ceramic inks, white inks and other fluids that sediment or trap air in a conventional head. That is the reason the RC1536 displaced older fixed-geometry heads on single-pass presses — the value is not only resolution, it is the ability to keep printing challenging inks without constant purging.
The family spans the RC1536L (ICA1536T0L-1F01), RC1536M with metal base (ICA1536T20-1N01), the metal-nozzle-plate RCH1536L (ICB1536T0L-1W01) and the aqueous RC1536A-L (ICA1536A0L). Fitted to EFI Cretaprint, KINGTAU, SiTi and Designera systems. The head is driven at low voltage to keep driver electronics and running costs down, and its 180 × 47.6 × 123.3 mm body weighs under 700 g. Every head is 100% original, serial-numbered and QC tested — contact us for a free compatibility check and bulk pricing.
